Outreach Project Overview

You're receiving this email because you have visited our website www.healingcenter.ca and filled in one of our request forms for a healing treatment, Reiki certification, or Area Coordinator.

 
First let me say how excited I am to be in the planning stages for establishing a healing and teaching outreach in your area.  We've been very pleased with the results we've received from our other outreach endeavors and I look forward to working with you, in whatever capacity you choose, in this one.

I've included a brief overview of the process we've been using to search for new areas and establish a successful operation.

1.  Our first step is to create a webpage on The Healing Center site for a given area.

2. As people (like yourself) respond with an interest in any of the services we have to offer we begin to create a mailing list.

3. During this process we find areas where the numbers of request begin to accumulate.

4. When we identify these areas we send a follow up email (this one) in contemplation of taking the next step.

5. We then open a dialog with the interested folks (like yourself) to work together towards the first teaching and healing outreach in your area.

6. Please note! I'm not asking for any substantial commitment. Don't feel that you're entering into some kind of "contract" or that I'm going to suddenly ask for money! <grin> Our only purpose here is to work with like minded people like yourself so we do the best we can to ensure a successful outreach right from the beginning.

The platform on which we house all the other services we offer is the Reiki Certification. Therefore our first goal will be to gather a group of students for the training. We have found that if we can hold a session with ten students it provides the resources to establish a foundation in the area from which to grow. Once we the certification class gathered we then add on any of the other services around it. Our typical first visit will be a weekend (Saturday & Sunday). This provides sufficient time for the certificate classes. We can then add other classes, or sessions in the evening. If we have enough interest we can also stretch the weekend out to include Friday.

As our outreach grows in your area we then begin to establish a regular schedule of visits to perform treatments, training, and delivering our other training programs.

As a reminder the services we typically offer are:

• Reiki Certification

• Personal Healing Treatments

We have found it invaluable to establish a local contact person who knows both the geographical area as well as the demographics of the people living there. It helps us to better understand the best ways we can offer value. Briefly, your role as an Area Coordinator is as follows:

• Be a local contact person for inquiries and requests.
  Note: We coordinate pretty much every from here so it will only be by exception that
  people would call you personally.

• Assist us in obtaining & qualifying rental facilities for the outreaches. We find there are no substitutes for having a local person who knows the good, and the bad, for rental facilities.

• In  return for your assistance we offer any of the services you are interested in free of charge.

• It's pretty simple actually and shouldn't take too much of your time.  If you are interested in getting more actively involved we, of course, welcome any contribution and ideas you may have.

• We find this is a very rewarding relationship for everyone and look forward to working with you.
