Why We Go...
Not so long ago I was given a directive. Not so much a command but a choice. Was I willing to remember what it is like to be still. And in that stillness to re-discover that place inside me where I was, am, and always will be at perfect peace, perfect stillness, and perfect power. Not power like is commonly strived for which manifests as the ability to have control. Usually over our external environment. The places we live, the occupation we have, the people we encounter each day. That is often how the "world" defines power.
But you see, the real meaning of power is quite different. Real power means understanding that we have no real control over our external circumstance. We only have control over ourselves and how we will perceive our external environment. And in that realization we understand that we do not need to control the external. That is what real power is. And the magic of this is that as we discover who we really are, and the amazing ability our bodies have to heal them selves and others around them, and we understand the power of choosing how we will perceive a "thing". Then the things we perceive being to change.
That is real power. That is the knowingness that causes us to be re-born. That is what free us. No matter what.
This is the experience we walk each of our students through during our teaching sessions and retreats.
This is what we desire to share with as many people as we possibly can. For the duration of our lives. This is what we desire, and will, do. Many people and organizations proclaim they are reaching out to the world because they are compelled by the needs of those less fortunate. Many have been applauded as they should be for their selfless act.
I believe I speak for each member of the team when I say the reason we are doing this is for us. When I experienced the awesome privilege of being the catalyst for someone to remember that they can be complete and whole despite the hand that life has dealt them. When I saw that I knew. There was only one thing in this world I wanted to do. Over and over again. To experience the unspeakable joy I felt to be present when someone was, in a very real way, re-born. Seeing that face. Feeling that feeling. That is why I say to you with all the integrity I can muster. Please, allow us to come. For the ones we will teach and share with. And for us.
I encourage you. Listen with your heart not your head. We will go to anyone, anywhere, in anyplace, at any time. Participate with us in changing the world. One heart at a time.
As I mentioned earlier this entire venture is a manifestation of my desire to fulfill the mandate given to me at the beginning of my journey. Therefore I’m much more concerned with getting the message and teaching out rather than a first class plane ticket or opulent hotel room. I’m extremely flexible and commit to working within any limitations your situation may present to come upon a workable solution to enable myself and my team to travel to your specific area. Please do not allow any “perceived” limitations to my coming to your area deter you from proceeding forward. I’m a firm believer that together, with a common vision and purpose, we can come up with a solution. There always is one. We just have to work together to find it.
