The Healing Center of Canada is taking a small group of individuals on a week long Spiritual Adventure Tour this November.

• MORE.. Our tours are definitely not an "All work and no play event". We allow amply time for you to soak in the ambience and energy of the local area and digest the teachings we will be offering.

• MORE..  Reconnect with the earth. Our philosophy is that you don't find spirituality on the 23rd floor of a five star hotel. The accommodations we choose are top notch, comfortable, and safe while keeping you in touch with the ambience and energetics of the locale.

• MORE.. Complete anominity. We do not disclose who attends our workshops or any of the events that occur during them. You can truly be yourself.

Level One & Two Practitioner Training - Accelerated Format

One of the many aspects that creates our experience unique from many others is that the foundation for the retreat is walking you through the process of receiving your Reiki Certification Training. "What is Reiki you may ask? And why should I care about it?" Excellent questions.

We are happy to offer Levels One and Two Reiki Practitioner Certification Training in an accelerated learning format enabling you to obtain both levels during one of our fantastic  intensive workshops. The comments we have had from past participants is that it’s been nothing less than life changing.
 
We have modified the course format to allow you to receive all of the benefits with out sacrificing any of the content and the life changing experiences experienced through our standard course offerings. You will receive a full color 100-page manual that is yours to keep as well as a certificate of achievement.

Timeless tradition of passing on the essence or reiki from teacher to student

Those of you familiar with the delivery of the certification training will be familiar with an activity call an "Attunement". This is a very special portion of the weekend involved one of our teachers performing a simply ceremony with each individual student.  For both us as teachers, and our students, this is an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives. As with the weekend retreats we often perform the attunements outside making for a memorable experience. Getting away from glass and steel and into the beauty tremendously enhances your experience.

Accommodations

Our philosophy is that you don't re-discover your roots from the 23rd floor of a five star hotel. You find them through getting in touch with the earth, the sun, the sky, the wind, the rain. The event will take place at one of the Eco-resorts nestled around the ruins. They are comfortable and safe and combine a unique blend of luxury and nature. Our week long events are about the entire experience. You are truly immersed into a life changing adventure. I've included some typical photos of the accommodations below. We are tying up details at this point and will forward them to our registrants as soon as they are completed.

*Note: As accommodations are your responsibility you have a choice of where you stay. You are, of course, welcome to stay with us but are also free to choose different arrangements if you wish.

 

The Tulum Ruins

 

In the ancient times, the Mayan developed a holy inner city that ascended high above the majestic crystal blue seaside of the Caribbean and was protected by 3 enormous walls and a steep cliff. This walled abode was given the honorary name of Tulum, the walled Mayan city. With over 60 restored temples, Tulum has hidden secrets that are spoken within the sacred walls with genuine paintings of the mysterious hieroglyphic writings. Only the high priests, mathematicians, astronomers, architects and engineers were allowed to dwell within the arms of this sacred city while the commoners remained living beyond this holy city. These gifted Mayans invented a calendar more accurate than the one existing today and also left the legacy of the creation of the zero. These inventions and calculations are clearly proven by the distinct position between the temples and the precise timing of the sun called the Equinox. The most important structure is called The Castle, situated on a 40 foot bluff overlooking aqua blue waters. This temple is considered the tallest in the city. Also examine the walls of the temple of the frescoes that was known for having great social and religious influence. This temple still has detailed carved figures with the original colored paintings. The risen cliff of Tulum has a break in it and has formed an accessible cove area with a white sandy beach. This location gave easy access to fishing boats. Trade was an essential living for the Mayans and the Quintana Room coast was the primary route for Mayan trade of the time. Unforgettable views of the Caribbean can be easily captured from the height of the immense cliff that separates the land from the sea.

One aspect of our teaching styles we emphasis with all of our students is the teaching and mentoring does not stop when you walk out though the doors of our Center or return home from an event. Each of our teachers is dedicated and committed to offering whatever they can to assist you during the learning process that really begins on Monday morning when you wake up to greet a brand new day with a brand new you. We not only are available but also encourage you to contact us for any questions, clarifications, support, or even just to chat.
 
This is one of the major reasons why we keep our classes small. You will have unprecedented access to two of our teacher who will be delivering the class. With the largest class size we take being only eight students you can be assured you will receive one on one coaching.
 
 
These sessions are delivered in a relaxed and informal teaching environment. Our desire is that your day with us be not only educational and invigorating by a refreshing escape from the rigors of our buy modern lifestyle.

Everyone at The Healing Center takes what we do very seriously. This is not something we merely teach but a lifestyle we live. One of our greatest desires is to teach through what we do and who we are rather than only by the words that flow through our lips.  
 
Even though the class times are designed to give you as much free time as possible without sacrificing any of the content of the program the group will often share much of their free time together going on a variety of adventures. As teachers we make ourselves available at any time to answer any questions you may have or to offer support in, not only the certificate training, but also any other areas of your life you wish to share.
 
One of the facets our students really enjoy, as do we, is the interesting and provocative direction the weekend will take. As teachers we maintain a high degree of sensitivity to the subtle nuances, (and sometimes not so subtle) which ultimately cause each session we host to be unique. I noticed early on in my teaching career as a Reiki Certificate Trainer that there is significant value in not being tied to a rigid structure and schedule when delivering the course material. I am happy to say that, because of this sensitivity and willingness to be flexible, our students receive the absolute best experience possible. This trait is mirrored in all my teachers.
 
You will also have the option of participating in regular meditation & discussion sessions. These are an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded individuals. Mini healing sessions are also often offered.

Excursions designed to walk you through your own unique experience of who you really are and what you are truly capable of...

We have found that each location we teach at offers it's own unique flavoring of physical, energetic, and spiritual personality. As teachers and guides one of the characteristics we model is an awareness followed by a willingness to work with the uniqueness of our locale in creating and walking each participant through a journey to awareness, discovery, and releasing.

We will be taking visits to the Tulum ruins and exploring it not only from a historical aspect but also an energetic and spiritual one. Plans include conducting teachings and having meditations within the ruins.

As the leader I feel one of the greatest benefit I can offer you as a participant is to tell you I don't know all the exercise we will enter into while we are there. These adventures are not about a strict regiment of exercises and teachings that must be followed. Each group and each individual has their own unique makeup. As teachers it is our desire to energetically connect with the essence of who you are. From that we walk the group and the individual through a selection of teachings from our expansive repertoire that will provide each what is needed at that exact moment. It is this practice that causes each tour we do to be a unique experience. No two are identical.

 

Privacy and discretion

This week is about you, your creator, and creation. Frankly it is no one else's business. Therefore as leaders we assure you that we will not share with anyone, who attends these events or what happens during them. You, of course, are free to share whatever you wish but be assured that we value your privacy greatly.

 

 An intimate experience with small class sizes

As I have mentioned these events are their own unique entity with no two being the same. We are acting not so much as teachers as we are guides that walk each of you through an experience of rememberance and re-empowerment. Because of this we keep our class sizes to no more than eight students. With two teachers in attendance you have unprecedented access to us and can rest assured that we will be able to devote the personal time and attention that will ensures your transformation will be the best it can be.

 

Not an "All work and no play" week

The week is definitely not an "All work and no play" event. Your days will spent in a delicious mix of learning, sharing, experiencing and relaxing. There will be ample amounts of time each day to enjoy the ambience of the area, sight see, or simply just "be" and digest the learning's and changes that will take place.

We have worked very diligently at establishing the most economical tuition costs as possible. We also accept many major credit cards as well offering as many options for payment as we can.

Who is The Healing Center?

Hello, my name is Russ Littau and I’m the founder of The Healing Center. Thanks for taking the time to allow us to share a few moments with you. I thought I would briefly share with you the essence that underscores everything you’ve just read. Out of the abundance of what I have experienced flows the desire to help others to see in them what I see in them everyday. Inside each one of us is a place that’s at perfect peace and stillness and in that place resides the force that empowers us to be the people we were truly designed to be.  I’ve touched that place in me and I’ve had the privilege of providing an environment where others can re-discover it in them. Am I some “special” person with this larger than life ability? You Bet! But the really cool thing is that so are you.

 

 

 My vision, my goal, and the driving force behind everything The Healing Center does is to help you re-discover who you really are. And when you find that place your whole world begins to change. From our Genesis of offering healing treatments in my home we have evolved into a bustling center of teaching, treating, and healing.  In the last year we have broaden our horizons and now offer sessions like the ones you’ve just read in growing numbers of locations through out the world. As we continue to travel we are extremely blessed by the wonderful people we have a chance to meet and spend time with sharing what we have re-discovered. Nothing gives us greater joy than to watch you re-discover who you really are and in doing so be forever changed. Not so much into some new but “renewed” into that person of peace and power you always were, are, and will be.
